Metal to Metal Adhesive EP4002

We supply quality industrial grade adhesives and epoxies. This is a high performance Polyurethane resin suitable for many applications including repairs and assembly. All adhesives are supplied with a Technical Data Sheet (TDS) and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). This product is supplied in a sealed pack and the material has a long shelf life.

EP4002 Metal to metal is a 2 component room temperature curing black coloured odourless thixotropic odourless polyurethane adhesive. Metal is a innovative system to glue metal panels. Specificly designed for the automotive aftermarket can easily replace traditional spot welding technology.

Bonding Vs Welding
There is no need to remove internal panels and rubber gaskets. No need to re-shape the metal deformed by the welding heat. No need to grind the welding spots. No need to disconnect the electronic system of the car as with traditional welding. No need for rust protection on the bonded area. No need for sealers as Metal to Metal is a self sealing adhesive.

Area of Application
Small metal panel adhesive. Exceptionally strong urethane adhesive for bonding small steel parts, such as wings and quarter panels where a 60 minute working time is needed. Bond and declamp is 4 hours (use heat @ 60 degrees to reduce declamping time to 1.5 hours).

Product Application
Metal to Metal is available in bi-component cartridges in 50ml and blending should be made through the static mixer nozzle (3 supplied). Use a standard manual or pneumatic applicator gun.
